I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and National Certified Counselor with more than 20 years of experience providing services to individuals, groups and families for a wide-range of emotional, social and academic/career concerns. My service to youth, families and the community has led me to receive many awards at the city, county and state level.
I received my Master of Science Degree in School Counseling from the University of La Verne and continued my graduate education in clinical counseling at California State University Fullerton. I have worked as a personal counselor in a public school setting servicing students in grades K-12 and have provided therapy to children and families in the Alternative to Domestic Violence Office Setting.
In addition, I maintain a private practice offering services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. My specialized training includes: adolescent issues, child development, parenting skills, play therapy, family systems theory, couples counseling, grief/loss, anger management, conflict resolution, behavior modification and stress reduction.
I am an interactive therapist who is passionate about helping people thrive as they face lifes' challenges, offering a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
